Hello, I am working on an old grinder, belt driven with babbitt bearings.

I am making a new shaft for it and will be pouring new babbitt bearings, as the bearings are shot and the bearing journals on the shaft are not concentric with the journals where the wheels mount, by about .015. The grinder is equipped with grease caps on the bearing journals (the kind you fill with grease and then screw down to push grease into the bearings).
